SUNDAY SCHOOL
The Sunday School for the younger children takes place during the first part of the Parish Eucharist. Then they join the rest of the parish family for the remainder of the service. They play a prominent part in the service, in the very centre of the worship, standing closest to the altar and surrounded by the rest of the congregation. Children aged from about 8 are regular servers, and younger ones serve at the altar at the end of the Eucharist.
Youth Mass is held on the first Sunday of every month in term time - children read, present their own prayers, sing and participate in the sermon.
BAPTISM AND CONFIRMATION
If you would like your child baptised, we offer a 4 week programme, Welcome to the Family, with a Baptism Partner to prepare with you. A lay member of the congregation will lead potential baptism families through an introduction to the teaching of the church over several weeks.
Confirmation classes for both young people and adults are held at regular intervals, approximately every 2-3 years.
St Mary's also has a Church of England primary school in Garnet Road and a nursery in the Parish Centre. The School has a weekly assembly and service in Church.

YOUTH GROUP
Our youth group meets from 12.30 pm to 2 pm on Sundays, for young people aged from 7 and at primary school. We are delighted to welcome new members - just turn up any Sunday. Activities include prayer and bible study as well as learning activities such as cooking and first aid, and excursions like cinema trips, picnics, bowling, swimming and skating, and a traditional Christmas visit to the pantomime at Brent Town Hall.
ST MARY'S NURSERY
ST MARY'S PARISH CENTRE
Contrary to rumours, St Mary’s
Nursery is not closing!
Our very own Lucky Enekeme is already
working there, and the new Nursery
Manager, Olga Dikuasa-Esapo, started
recently.
The Nursery now has its own web site:
http://www.stmarywillesden.org.uk/Nursery.html
or click on the logo to see it.
There is an open door policy and you can
drop in any time to meet the staff and
children and pick up an information booklet
and application form. Or you can speak
to Ros any Sunday in church.
